Workshops for Parents
Support Happy, Resilient, and Compassionate Children with Scientifically-Validated Techniques
For groups of parents, I offer a 6-week workshop series based on the classic book How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk by award-winning authors Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.
This psychoeducational program and support group is for parents of toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
The sessions cover:
• Helping Children Deal with Their Feelings
• Engaging Cooperation
• Alternatives to Punishment
• Encouraging Autonomy
• Praise and Self-Appreciation
• Freeing Children from Playing Roles

The goal of the workshop is to give you effective, evidence-based methods of communication that will make your relationship with your children less stressful and more rewarding. You will learn how to:

• Discipline without hurting or alienating
• Cope with your child's negative feelings
• Help your child develop a realistic and positive self-image
• Foster an atmosphere of love and respect
• Resolve conflicts peacefully
